What is TradeMall.com?

TradeMall.com is a free fantasy prediction game. You predict the outcomes of real-world events — politics, sports, finance, weather, technology and culture — and use virtual credits to play and climb the leaderboard. It's for entertainment only.

Is this real-money betting or gambling?

No. There is no real money involved, won, or lost. You play with free virtual Credits that have no monetary value and cannot be bought, sold, cashed out, or transferred. It's a game of skill and fun — just bragging rights.

How much does it cost?

Nothing. TradeMall.com is free to play. Every new account starts with a free balance of Credits.

How do I play?

Browse the open predictions, pick an outcome you believe in, and buy shares in it with your Credits. Each outcome shows a live price (its implied probability). If your outcome wins, each share is worth 1 Credit; if it loses, those shares expire. You can also sell (cash out) the shares you hold back to the market at any time before the market closes.

How are prices set?

Markets use an automated market maker. The price of each outcome moves up and down with player activity, like a live probability. The price you pay is locked in at the moment you buy; it then keeps moving with everyone else's plays.

How are outcomes decided?

Markets close at a set time, after which no more plays are accepted. Outcomes are then resolved by us or by trusted data sources. If an outcome is ambiguous, disputed, or can't be reliably determined, the market is voided and everyone is refunded their net Credits for that market.

What are seasons?

Play runs in seasons. At the start of each season, balances reset so everyone starts fresh and competes on a level field. Top players each season earn badges and bragging rights.

What are groups?

Groups are private leaderboards where you compete head-to-head with friends, colleagues, or a community. You can create your own group or join an existing one. (You'll need a verified email to create or join a group.)

Do I need to verify my email?

Yes — after signing up we send a confirmation link to your email. Verifying keeps the game fair and spam-free, and is required before you can trade or join groups. Didn't get it? Check your spam folder, or use the "Resend email" prompt at the top of the site.

Who can play?

Anyone aged 13 or older (or older where local law requires). One account per person.

How do I change my display name or delete my account?

Head to your Profile page. You can update your display name and other details there, and you can permanently delete your account at any time.
